Moorgate 1.4.1062.1344 is available

Moorgate 1.4.1062.1344 is available and can be downloaded from the Twenty57 website. Thank you to Shivkant for the speedy change.

Note: This version requires a fresh install, as their are .config additions to the Moorgate Process Service config as well as the web.config. Alternatively, see the config snippets below:

Features:

- Price import web service URL no longer requires a WSDL - the URL should now be pointed directly to the .asmx - e.g. https://finswitchuat.finswitch.com/webservices/finswitchwebservice.asmx for UAT or https://finswitch2.finswitch.com/webservices/finswitchwebservice.asmx for live.

Moorgate 1.4.1060.1340 is available

Moorgate 1.4.1060.1340 is available and can be downloaded from the Twenty57 website. Thank you to Shivkant for the dev work. It contains the following new features and fixes

Features
  • Rollback Transaction Detail Import Definitions. This works the same way as the rollback of Transactions and Confirmation Import Definitions
  • Default Balancing Entry Type applied to very small differences created through the auto-reconcile feature on the manual recon screen
    • If there is no default balancing entry type set, then the reconciliation will still happen and no type will be assigned to the balancing entry
  • Confirmation and Transaction Import Definitions now accept HO and HC records.
    • AB/ZB is also still accepted
    • Moorgate still expects the batches to be in the correct order and will not re-order them
    • If Balance Checks are applied every batch must start with either an HO or AB record, followed by 0 or more transactions and end with either  an HC or ZB record
Bug Fixes
  • Product Company setting Confirmation File Import Missing Account Action is honoured. When set to Ignore, Moorgate will not process any batches it can't match to an account. When set to Fail it will attempt to process the batch and if the batch isn't matched to an account it will appear on the Failed Confirmations Screen
  • Batch ordering and processing is correct when the Finswitch file contains incomplete batches (Opening Balance present but no closing balance found for example)
  • Filters on the Failed Confirmation Screen work correctly

Moorgate 1.4.1056.1331 is available

Moorgate 1.4.1056.1331 is available and can be downloaded from the Twenty57 website. Thank you to Shivkant for the dev work. It contains the following new features and improvements

Processing of Finswitch  Confirmation Files containing Holding Opening (HO) and Holding Closing (HC) balances
  • Finswitch is making these balance types Mandatory
  • Moorgate will now import files which have AB/ZB, HO/HC or both balances on one account/batch successfully
  • HO/HC is being treated exactly the same as AB/ZB and will fail and appear on the failed confirmation screen for the same reasons
  • If both AB/ZB and HO/HC are present, AB/ZB will be used and HO/HC ignored
  • If there is only one balance record of any type, the batch will fail entirely and need to be captured manually
  • Import definitions from SQL and Oracle still expect and use AB/ZB, There are no changes here
Hide Inactive accounts on the Home Screen
  • Inactive accounts are now hidden on the Home Screen Unresolved Transactions grid
  • If you want to see any information regarding Inactive accounts, write an applicable report
Default Fund Price Field added for Amount Type Funds
  • It is now possible to specify a Default Price for Amount Type Funds
  • The field Default Price (in cents) appears on the Fund Set up screen only if the Reconciliation Type is set to Amount
  • If left at 0c, Moorgate will continue to work as normal - use the Fund price imported and allow the users to manually capture a price on the Add/Edit/Failed Confirmations Screen
  • If set to anything greater than 0c, Moorgate will use this price on the Add/Edit/Failed Confirmations Screen - the Price field will be read-only and the users will not be able to edit it
  • The Imported Fund Price for the Finswitch Price File will be ignored
  • If you want to use this Price in any reporting, please update the reports accordingly

Product, Fund and Account information included in the Tag Email
  • The Product, Fund and Account information has been included in the email sent from the Tag screen. It contains the same information and uses the same format as the Account Selector

Moorgate 1.4.1047.1311 is available

Moorgate 1.4.1047.1311 is available for download from the Twenty57 website. It contains the following bug fixes
  • Check to ensure that already reconciled items cannot be reconciled again
  • Data refresh is consistent and complete when working on the same account in two separate tabs
  • The pop-up warning that the account has been changed in a second tab has been removed
    • The screen will still refresh to show the last selected account's data in both tabs, but it now happens silently
  • If the account is changed while the Edit Tag screen is open, the user will be navigated to the Home screen without the tag being saved
Thank you to Jai for the dev work
